x^3+4x-3 is not divisible by (x+5) since if we put x = -5 in x^3+4x-3 we get

(-5)^3 + 4(-5) - 3

= -125–20–3

=-148

≠ 0

So we get the remainder -148 if x^3+4x-3 is divided by x+5
