Here we are given an equation x - 3 = 6 - 17x

We have to solve this equation for the value of x

So, We will rearrange the entire equation by shifting terms with variable to left hand side

x - 3 = 6-17x

x + 17x= 6 + 3

    18x = 9

       x = 9/18

       x = 1/2

Hence, the value of x will be 1/2

In accordance with the information provided in the question,

We have find the value of the supplied expression in the above question.

Given the data in question x - 3 = 6-17x

Hence, for solving the above equation, we will solve it by separating the like terms at one side.

So, we will shift 3 from LHS to RHS,

So, we will shift 17x from RHS to LHS,

So, we will get it as,

=x-3=6-17x\\\Rightarrow x+17x=6+3\\\Rightarrow 18x=9\\\Rightarrow x=\frac{9}{18} \\\Rightarrow x=\frac{1}{2} \\\Rightarrow x=0.5

Hence, value of "x" in above equation will be 0.5.
