x^3-7x-6 Factorise the polynomial by splitting method

munni00: plzz tell meee
brainly107: is it x^2
munni00: no it is x^3
creativevishnu4: Hey, sorry now i got. If you mark my answer as brainliest i can edit it. But still I am writing here only. x cube - 1x - 6x - 6 = x(x square -1) - 6 (x + 1). So, the factors are (x-6) (x square - 1) & (x+1)
munni00: 3 factors???
creativevishnu4: but the answer came like that. I think it can come like that
munni00: thanks

It should be compuslarily be x^2. Then only answer will come. Factors of 6 are 1 & 6. -6 -1 = -7

 So,  x^2 - 1x - 6x - 6
       = x(x - 1) -6 (x - 1)

So, the factors are (x-6) & (x-1)
