Solution:
x/3 - (x-2)/2 = 7/3
=> [2x-3(x-2)]/6 = 7/3
=> (2x-3x+6)/6 = 7/3
=> (-x+6)/6 = 7/3
Multiply both sides by 3 , we get
=> (-x+6)/2 = 7
Do the cross multiplication, we get
=> (-x+6) = 2×7
=> -x + 6 = 14
=> -x = 14 - 6
=> -x = 8
=> x = -8
Therefore,
x = -8
