x/3 + y/2 = 13/2 simplify to find the value of x

 \frac{x}{3}  +  \frac{y}{2}  =  \frac{13}{2}  \\  \\  \\  \\  \frac{x}{3}  =  \frac{13}{2}  -  \frac{y}{2}  \\  \\  \frac{x}{3}  =  \frac{13 - y}{2}  \\  \\  \\ x =  \frac{3(13 - y)}{2}

Here is your answer :

 \frac{x}{3}  +  \frac{y}{2}  =   \frac{13}{2}


First, Multiply whole equation to 6 to simplify it


2x + 3y = 39


2x =  {39 - 3y}


2x = 3(13 - y)


x =  \frac{3(13 - y)}{2}
