x/3+y/4=1,5x/6-y/3=-7

4x+3y=12,5x-2y=-42(by LCM)

y=12-4x.........eq.1

put eq.1 in 5x-2y=-42

we get:5x-2(12-4x)=-42

5x-24+8x=-42

5x+8x=-42+24

13x=-18

x=-18/13

y=12-4*(-18/13)

=-11.07.....
