The given eq^ may be written as-

x/3+y/4=11 4x+3y=132 -----(1)

5x - y/3= -7 15x - y = -21 ------(2)

multiplying eq^(1)by1 and eq^(2)by 3,we get

1 (4x+3y=132)4x+3y=132 -------(3)

3 (15x-y= -21)45x-3y= -63 --------(4)

now, adding eq (3) and (4),we get

49x=69

x=69/49

putting this value in eq (2),we get

15×69/49-y=-21

1035-49y=-1029

-49y=-1029-1035

-49y=-2064

y=-2064/-49

y=2064/49

hence, x=69/49 and y=2064/49
