\sf\huge\bold{Answer:}

Given :

x = - 3 \\ y = 7

To find :

distance d(A,B)

Solution :

As we know that in this condition

distance (d) = difference between two numbers.

\fbox{Note} : Here difference = larger no. - smaller no. (because the distance is always positive )

So,on inserting values

⇒d(A,B) = 7 - (- 3)

⇒d(A,B) = 7 + 3

⇒d(A,B) = 10 units.

so,distance d(A,B) = 10 units.

distance (d) = difference between two numbers.

⇒ Here difference = larger no. - smaller no. (because the distance is always positive )

So,on inserting values

⟶d(A,B) = 7 - (- 3)

⟶d(A,B) = 7 + 3

⟶d(A,B) = 10 units.

so,distance d(A,B) = 10 units.
