We have to find the value of x

 x+3x÷2=35 2x+3x÷2=35 [Taking L.C.M.=2] 5x÷2=35 x=35×2÷5 x=7×2 x=14

 Verification

 x+3x÷2 =14+3×14÷2 =14+3×7 =14+21 =35.      

Hence, proved.

$x + \frac{3x}{2} = 35 \\ take \: lcm \\ \frac{3x + 2x}{2} = 35 \\ 5x = 35 \times 2 \\ 5x = 70 \\ x = \frac{70}{5} \\ x = 14$
To verify this put the value of x on given equation i.e

$x + \frac{3x}{2} = 35 \\ 14 + \frac{3 \times 14}{2} = 35 \\ 14 + 3 \times 7 = 35 \\ 14 + 21 = 35 \\ 35 = 35 \\ lhs = rhs$
