2

x+3y=10-(i)

2x+y=11-(ii)

Multiplying 2 in equation i and subtracting i and ii,we get

2x+6y=20

2x+y=11

5y=9

y=9/5

then x+3y=10

x+3×9/5=10

x+27/5=10

x=10-27/5

x=50-27/5

x=23/5
