X^4 - 2^3 + x^2 - 7x - 10,when X is equals to -2

x4-2x3+x2-7x-10 =0
by inspection
if x=-2 then
16+16+4+14-10=40
so x=-2

Here is your answer...

 {x}^{4} - {2}^{3} + {x}^{2} - 7x - 10
substitute x=-2 in above equation
 { - 2}^{4} - {2}^{3} + { - 2}^{2} - 7( - 2) - 10

=16-8+4+14-10

=8+18-10

=26-10

=16
