Steps followed :
- Firstly we have taken a number which when multiplied by X + 1 should give the first digit of our dividend . Then we have placed the same number in the place of the question and multiplied it with the second number of devices that is plus one . Following the same rule we have completely divided the whole polynomial and got the remainder as zero while the quotient is : x³ + x² + x
★ Answer :
Quotient : x³ + x² + x
Remainder : 1
Note : This problem can also be solved through remainder theorem refer to the second attachment for the same.
Steps :
We have to simply find the value of x. When transpose the constant value + 1 to the other side of the equal to sign we get -1 so the same we have substituted in the place of x and simplified.
