Given,

 \frac{x - 4}{7}  -  \frac{x + 4}{5}  =  \frac{x + 3}{7}

=> [5(x-4)-7(x+4)]/35= (x+3)/7

=> [5x-20-7x-28]/5= (x+3)

=> [-2x-48]=5(x+3)

=> -2x-48=5x+15

=> -7x= 63

=> x= -63/7

=> x= -9 Ans.
