Here we have to find the value of $x$

$\frac{x}{4}-\frac{x}{5} =2$

As denominators are not equal we have to find the LCM of $4,5$

LCM of $4,5$ is $20$

$\frac{x}{4}\times \frac{5}{5} -\frac{x}{5}\times\frac{4}{4} =2$

$\frac{5x}{20}-\frac{4x}{20} =2$

As denominators are same subtract them directly.

$5x-4x=2\times20$

$x=40$

Therefore, the value of $x$ is $40$
