x/4= y/3. find the ratio (x+4):(y+3)

Answer:

(y/3+4)/(x/4+3)

(y+12/3)/(x+12/4)

(y+12)4=(x+12)3

4y+48=3x+36

3x-4y=8

x=8+4y/3

and,

y=8+3x/4
