Let x/4 = y/3 = z/2 = k

=> x = 4k ---( 1 )

y = 3k ----( 2 )

z = 2k ----( 3)

And

7x+8y+5z = 62 ( given )

=> 7(4k)+8(3k)+5(2k) = 62

=> 28k + 24k + 10k = 62

=> 62k = 62

=> k = 62/62

=> k = 1

Now ,

put k = 1 in equations (1),(2)

and (3) , we get

x = 4k = 4

y = 3k = 3,

z = 2k = 2

Therefore,.

x = 4, y = 3 , z = 2
