Here,

we have x- 4y =5_______(1)

3x+ y =2________(2)

by elimination method,

firstly we need to find out the value of any one variable x or y........

so here, I finding the value of y

so we multiplying eq__(1) to 3

3x- 12y = 15________(3)

now we substract eq (1) to (3)

3x - 12y = 15

-3x - y = -2

- 13y = -13

y = -13/ 13

y = -1

know we put the value of y in eq (1)

x- (-4) = 5

x+ 4 = 5

x = 5-4

x = 1
