Transposition Method:-

 \frac{x}{5}  + 1 = 2 \\  =  \frac{x}{5}  = 2 - 1 \\  = x = 1 \times 5 = 5

Trail And Error Method:-

if \: x = 1 \\  \frac{1}{5}  + 1 =  \frac{6}{5} ≠2

if \: x = 2 \\  \frac{2}{5}  + 1 =  \frac{7}{5} ≠2

if \: x = 3 \\  \frac{3}{5}  + 1 =  \frac{8}{5} ≠2

if \: x = 4 \\  \frac{4}{5}  + 1 =  \frac{9}{5} ≠2

if \: x = 5 \\  \frac{5}{5}  + 1 \\  = 1 + 1 = 2

therefore it is 5....
