Solution:-

Given

=> ( x + 5 )² - 4( x + 5 )

Use this identity

=> ( a + b )² = a² + b² + 2ab

We get

=> x² + 5² + 2 × x × 5 - 4( x + 5 )

=> x² + 25 + 10x -4x - 20

=> x² + 6x + 5

split into middle term

=> x² + 6x + 5 =0

=> x² + 5x + x + 5 =0

=> x( x + 5 ) +1( x + 5 ) =0

=> ( x + 1 )( x + 5 ) = 0

=> x + 1 = 0 and x + 5 = 0

=> x = - 1 and x = - 5

Zeroes of the polynomial is -1 and - 5
