lt can be solved by following method:-)

Firstly we will open it using algebraic identity as

 {(x - 5)}^{2}  - (5x - 25) - 24  \\  =  {x}^{2}  + 25 - 10x - 5x + 25 - 24 \\  =  {x}^{2}  - 15x + 26

Now we can make factors of this by the method of splitting the middle term

As:-)

 {x}^{2}  - 13x - 2x + 26 \\  = x(x - 13) - 2(x - 13) \\  = (x - 13)(x - 2)

So the roots of the given polynomial will be 13 and 2 respectively.
