Sol x =(5+2√6) ...................(i)

1/x =1/(5+2√6)

= (5- 2√6)/{(5+2√6)(5 - 2√6)) rationalise

=(5- 2√6)/{25 -24)

=(5- 2√6)........................(ii)

add (i) and (ii)

x+1/x = 10

x + 1/x +2 = 12 add 2 both side

(√x + 1/√x)^2 =(2 sqrt 3)^2

take sqrt
