SOLUTION:-

Given:

x-5/2 -x-3/5 = 1/2

Explanation:

 \frac{x - 5}{2}  -  \frac{x - 3}{5}  =  \frac{1}{2}  \\  \\

Take L.C.M. of 2 & 5, we get;

 =  >  \frac{5x - 25 - 2x + 6}{10}  =  \frac{1}{2}  \\ (cross \: multiplication) \\  =  > 10x - 50 - 4x + 12 = 10 \\  \\  =  > 10x - 4x - 38 = 10 \\  \\  =  > 6x - 38 = 10 \\  \\  =  > 6x = 10 + 38 \\  \\   =  > 6x = 48 \\  \\  =  > x =  \frac{48}{6}  \\  \\  =  > x = 8
