(x+5)/2 + (x-5)/3 = 25/6

Multiply both sides with 6,

{(x+5)/2 + (x-5)/3} ×6= { 25/6}×6

{(x+5)/2}×6 + {(x-5)/3} ×6= { 25/6}×6

3(x+5) + 2(x-5) = 25

3x +15 +2x -10 = 25

5x +5 = 25

5x = 25 -5 = 20

5x = 20

x = 20/5 = 4

hence x= 4

Hope you understood.
