x =   \frac{8 +  2\sqrt[2]{15} }{2} = 4 +  \sqrt{15}  \\ y =  \frac{8 - 2 \sqrt{15} }{2}   = 4 -  \sqrt{15} \\   \\  {x}^{2}  +  {y}^{2}  = 2(16 + 15) \\  = 2(31) = 62
