x + 5 = 7 \\  x = 7 - 5 \\   x = 2

While Transporting any number or symbol from LHS to RHS or RHS to LHS,

  • (÷) becomes (×).
  • (×) becomes (÷).

So Here,

=》 x + 5 = 7.

=》 x = 7 - 5.

[Transporting 5 to RHS thats why it becomes negative]

= x = 2.

Therefore the required value of x is 2.
