Step-by-step explanation:

 \sqrt{x}  +  \sqrt{5 + x}  =  \frac{15}{ \sqrt{5 + x} }

( \sqrt{5 + x} )( \sqrt{x}  +  \sqrt{5 + x} ) = 15 \\  \sqrt{x(5 + x)}  +  { (\sqrt{5 + x}) }^{2}  = 15 \\  \sqrt{x(5 + x)}  + 5 + x = 15 \\  \sqrt{x(5 + x)}  = 10 - x

Squaring both sides

 { (\sqrt{x(5 + x)}) }^{2}  =  {(10 - x)}^{2}  \\ x(5 + x) =  {(10)}^{2}  - (2 \times 10 \times x) +  {x}^{2}  \\ 5x +  {x}^{2}  = 100 - 20x +  {x}^{2}  \\ 20x + 5x +  {x}^{2}  -  {x}^{2}  = 100 \\ 25x = 100 \\ x =  \frac{100}{25}  = 4
