Given :-

Mass = 50 kg

Force = 80 N

Asked:-

Acceleration.

Acceleration if the value is halved.

Formula used:-

Acceleration = Force/mass

Solution :-

We know that,

F = Ma

then,

a = F/m

a = 80/50

a = 1.6 m/s^2

Now..

Let the new mass be

m1 = 2m

then,

a1 = F/m1

that is..

a1 = F/2m

a1 = 1/2 of F/m { F/m = a}

a1 = 1/2 × a

a1 = 1/2 × 1.6 m/s^2

a1 = 0.8 m/s^2

Answer :-

Acceleration = 1.6 m/s^2

Acceleration

if mass will halved = 0.8 m/s^2

Question:-

Aman push a box of mass 50 kg with the force of 80 Newton. What will be the acceleration of the box due to this force? what would be acceleration of mass will halved?
