\large\sf\underline{Given:}

  • \sf\:\frac{x}{6}+\frac{x}{4}=x-7

\large\sf\underline{To\:find:}

  • Value of x = ??

\large\sf\underline{Solution:}

\sf➞\:\frac{x}{6}+\frac{x}{4}=x-7

  • LCM of 6 and 4

\sf➞\:\frac{(2×x)+(3×x)}{12}=x-7

\sf➞\:\frac{2x+3x}{12}=x-7

\sf➞\:\frac{5x}{12}=x-7

  • Cross multiplying

\sf➞\:12(x-7)=5x

\sf➞\:12x-84=5x

  • Transporting 5x and 84 to other side

\sf➞\:12x-5x=84

\sf➞\:7x=84

  • Transporting 7 to other side

\sf➞\:x=\frac{84}{7}

\sf➞\:x=\cancel{\frac{84}{7}}

{\sf{{\pink{➻\:x=12}}}}
