Answer:

GIVEN:-

X + 6Y = 22 &. 3X + 14Y = 58

so,

X= 22 - 6Y--------( Equation i)

and,

3X + 14Y = 58

putting value (i)

=> 3( 22 - 6Y ) + 14Y = 58

=> 66 - 18Y + 14Y = 58

=> 66 - 4Y = 58

=> 4Y = 66 - 58

=> Y = 8/4

=> Y = 2------------ ( Equation ii )

putting value (ii)

=>X + 6 x 2 = 22

=> X + 12 = 22

=> X = 10

Answer:- value of X= 10

Y=2
