$x \: (1 + \frac{7}{3} ) + 16 = \frac{4}{7}$

$x( \frac{3 + 7}{3} ) = \frac{4}{7} - 16$

$x( \frac{10}{3} ) = \frac{4 -112 }{7}$

$x = \frac{108}{7} \times \frac{3}{10}$

therefore

$x = 4.628$
