(x + 7)(x + 9) = (x + 3)(x + 21) \\ = x ^{2} + 9x + 7x + 63 = x ^{2} + 21x + 3x + 63 \\ = x ^{2} - x^{2} + 16x + 63 - 63 - 24x \\ = 16x - 24x \\ = - 8x

Given Equation is (x + 7)(x + 9) = (x + 3)(x + 21)

⇒ x^2 + 9x + 7x + 63 = x^2 + 21x + 3x + 63

⇒ x^2 + 16x + 63 = x^2 + 24x + 63

⇒ x^2 + 16x + 63 - x^2 - 24x - 63 = 0

⇒ 16x - 24x = 0

⇒ -8x = 0

⇒ x = 0.

Therefore, the value of x = 0.

Hope it helps!
