HELLO DEAR,

x + 7y = 10------------( 1 )
3x - 2y = 7------------( 2 )

from-------( 1 ) & --------( 2 )
multiply by ---(3)* in ----( 1)

3x + 21y = 30
3x - 2y = 7
(-)___(+)__(-)
--------------------
23y = 23

Y = 1 [ put in ---( 1 ) ]

we get,

X + 7y = 10

x + 7(1) = 10

x = 10 - 7

x = 3 , y = 1

I HOPE ITS HELP YOU DEAR,
THANKS

Given:

x + 7y = 10

3x - 2y = 7

To find:

  • x
  • y

Solution:

x + 7y = 10

Multiply by 3,

3x + 21y = 30

Equate and solve for y,

3x + 21y = 30

3x - 2y = 7

Cancelling x terms,

23y = 23

Hence,

y = 1

Substitute,

we get,

x + 7 ( 1 ) = 10

x = 10 - 7

Hence,

x = 3
