  • 1 \times 15 = 15
  • 15 = 3 \times 5
  •  {x}^{2}  - 5x - 3x + 15 = 0

{ {x}^{2}  - 5x}  + { - 3x + 15} = 0

  • x(x-5)-3(x-5)=0
  • (x-5)+(x-3)=0
  • x=5(or)3
  • sum of zeroes = -b/a
  •   = \alpha  +  \beta
  •  \alpha  = 5
  •  \beta  = 3
  • -b/a=8 and
  •  \alpha  +  \beta  = 8
  • product of zeroes = c/a
  •  \alpha  \times  \beta
  • c/a =15/1 15
  •  \alpha  \times  \beta  = 15
