 \frac{x}{a} +  \frac{y}{4}   = 1  \\ 4x + ay = 4a......(1)\\  \frac{3x}{4} -  \frac{(x - y)}{2}  =  \frac{7}{4}   \\  \frac{x + 2y}{4 } =  \frac{7}{4} \\ x + 2y = 7  \\ 4x + 8y = 28........(2)  \\ from \: (1) \: and \: (2) \: we \: get \\ y(a - 8) = 4a - 28 \\
