~ (x+a) (y+a)=xy+(x+y)a+a²

~ & 13×23.

\large\bf{\underline{\red{TO\: FIND:-}}}

(x+a) (y+a)=xy+(x+y)a+a² using this find 13×23.

\large\bf{\underline{\red{SOLUTION:-}}}

13 × 23 Can also be Written as,

=> ( 3 + 10 )( 13 + 10 )

By the Formula,

(x+a) (y+a) = xy+(x+y)a+a²

(3+10)(13+10) = 3×13+(3+13)10+10²

= 39+(16)10+100

= 39+(16)110

= 39 + 1,760

= 1,799.
