x/a + y/b = a + b or x/a^2 + y/b^2 = 2 find the X and y values​

Answer:

x/a + y/b = a+b

⇒y/b = a + b - x/a     .................. i

x/a² + y/b² = 2 ................ii

⇒x/a² + y/b x1/b = 2

⇒x/a² + a+b/b - x/ab = 2                 puttting i

⇒x(b-a)/a²b = (b-a)/b

⇒x = a²

so x = a²

using ii we get

y = b²

so x=a² and y=b² ANSWER
