X and y are angles on a triangle line forming a linear pair. If twice of X is 30° less than Y, find x and y.

since it's a x and y forms linear pair then our first equation will be
x+y =180 ( angles in linear pair) ......1
according to 2nd condition,

2x-30=y
therefore,2x-y =30.......2
x+y=180
2x-y=30
_______
3x=210
x=70........3. and by substituting in eq 1 y=110.
