Dear Student,

◆ Answer -

X:Y:Z :: 23:13:4

● Explaination -

Let 5m and 3m nitial shares of X and Y respectively.

Z acquired 1/10 of this share,

Z's share = 1/10 (5m+3m)

Z's share = 4m/5

Half of this is acquired from X and half from Y.

X's share = 5m - 2m/5

X's share = 23m/5

Also, share remained to Y is -

Y's share = 3m - 2m/5

Y's share = 13m/5

Therefore, new profit sharing ratio is -

X : Y : Z = 23m/5 : 13m/5 : 4m/5

X : Y : Z = 23 : 13 : 4

Thanks dear...
