X and y are partners sharing profits in the ratio 3 is to 2 is to 1 full stop s and s is admitted as a new partner. It is agreed among the partners that new ratio between r and s will be the same as between p and q.Further, relative share of p,q and r will remain unchanged.Calculate the n.P.S.R and s. R.

The new profit sharing ratio between P,Q,R and S will 9:6:3:2

The Sacrificing ratio of P,Q and R will be 9:6:3

Explanation:

1. New ratio between R and S = Existing ratio between P and Q = 3:2

2. Also , it is given that the relative share of P , Q and R will remain unchanged.

So , P:Q:R = 3:2:1= 9:6:3

3. Thus , Ratio of S = (Ratio of R) * (2/3) ( Given that R:S = 3:2 )

= 2/20

4. New Profit Sharing Ratio of P, Q , R and S = 9:6:3:2

5. Now , Sacrificing Ratio is the ratio in which the old partners sacrifice their share of profit in favour of the new partner .

So, Ratio= Old Ratio - New Ratio

6. Thus , P' sacrifice = 9/18 - 9/20 = 9/180

Q's sacrifice = 6/18 - 6/20 = 6/180

R's sacrifice. = 3/18 - 3/20 = 3/180

7. Thus , Sacrificing ratio of P, Qand R = 9:6:3
