GIVEN : Old prfot sharing ratio = 3:2; New profit sharing ratio = 9:7:4

TO FIND : Sacrificing Ration

SOLUTION :

Sacrifing Ratio= Old - New Ratio

X = \frac{3}{5} - \frac{9}{20}

  = \frac{12 -  9 }{20}

  = \frac{3}{20}

Y = \frac{2}{5} - \frac{7}{20}

   = \frac{8 - 7 }{20}

  = \frac{1}{20}

Sacrificing Ratio and Gaining Ratio is always calculated when any partner is admitted or is retiring from the partnership.

Sacrificing Ratio of X:Y is 3:1.

Sacrificing Ratio is 3:1.
