to Y. "If you give me 20 of your apples, I will have
twice the number of apples left with you." Y replies. If
you give me 20 of your apples. I will have the same

Answer:

20

because, x takes 20 apples from y and then y takes 20 apples from x again so both have the same number of apples with them
