Solution:-

  • To calculate interest on capital:-

\rm\purple{ \: intrst \: on \: capital = capital \times \: rate \times period}

So, here capital of partners are:-

 \sf \: x = 20000 \\ \sf \: y = 10000

\sf \: rate = 6\%

\sf\ \: interest \:on \: capital \: of \: x =  >

 \tt\implies20000 \times  \frac{6}{100}  = 1200

\sf \: interest \: on \: capital \: of \: y =  >

\sf\implies10000 \times  \frac{6}{100} = 600

ie, 1200 per annum for x and

600 per annum for Y.
