√(A²+B²)

Explanation:

Multiply and divide by √(A²+B²)

let, A/√(A²+B²) = Cos(Ø)

and, B/√(A²+B²) = Sin(Ø)

then we get,

√(A²+B²) {CosØSinwt + SinØCoswt}

=√(A²+B²) {Sin (wt+Ø)} ...(1)

comparing equation (1) with general equation of SHM, we get Amplitude = √(A²+B²)
