X can complete a job in 12 days if x and y together they can complete the job in 6 2/3

In 1 day x can complete = 1/12 part of the work

In 1 day x and y together can complete = 3/20 part of the work

In 1 day y alone can complete = {(3/20) - (1/12)}

                                                  = {(9-5)/60}

                                                  = 4/60

                                                  = 1/15 part of the work.

(Ans): 1/15 part of the work.

:Ankita's 1 day's work = 1 / 12 of the works.

ankita and Nidhi can jointly compete the job in 20/3 days

: Ankita's and Nidhi's 1 day work = 2 /30 of the work

: Working alone , Nidhi's 1 days work 3 / 20 1/20

= 95/60 = 1 / 15

Nidhi can compete the work alone in 15 days ...
