x - 2 = 0
So, x = 2.

By remainder theorem.
x³ - 2x² - 5x + 4
= 2³ - 2*2² - 5*2 + 4
= 8 - 8 - 10 + 4
= 6.
Hence remainder is 6.

Hope this may help you..

Hey friend!

X-2 = 0
X = 2

By putting value of X in polynomial, we get,

(2)³- 2(2)² - 5(2) + 4

=> 8 - 2(4) - 10 +4
=> 8 - 8 - 10 + 4
=> -10 + 4
=> -6

When the given polynomial is divided by (x-2), the remainder comes -6.

Hope it helps
