Solution:

Let share of z = k

As given , y gets 20% more than z.

So, share of y = k + \frac{20 k}{100}

      = \frac{120 k}{100}

Also, it is given that x gets 25% more than y .

Share of x= \frac{120 k}{100} + \frac{25}{100} \times \frac{120 k}{100}=\frac{120 k}{100} \times \frac{125}{100}=\frac{3 k}{2}

If Salary = Rs 740

To find the value of k,we will have to use

\frac{3 k}{2}= 740 \\\\ k=\frac{740 \times 2}{3}=\frac{1480}{3}

Share of z in salary of Rs 740 is Rs \frac{1480}{3}

If Salary = Rs 1999

\frac{3 k}{2}= 1999 \\\\ k=\frac{1999 \times 2}{3}=\frac{3998}{3}

Share of z in salary of Rs 1999 is Rs \frac{3998}{3}

So, The share of z out of a sum of rs 740 is of salary in Rs 1999=  \frac{\frac{1480}{3}}{\frac{3998}{3}}\times 100=37.018 %

Z share = Z,

Y = 1.2Z

X = 1.25×1.2Z,

X+Y+Z =740

(1.25× 1.2+1.2+1)Z=740

3.7Z=740, Z=200
