If X is p% more than that of Y, then Y is less than that of X by (100p/100+p)%

here p=25

so y is less than x by [(100*25)/(100+25)]%
= (2500/125)%
= (100/5)%
=20%

hope it helps :)

VemugantiRahul: do you got it?
yaseer786000: no
yaseer786000: you can take p as 100
VemugantiRahul: used direct formula
VemugantiRahul: need general method of solving
