( non zero) - x^2 is a rational number..

for ex. let x be √5

therefore x^2= (√5)^2

= 5..
and 5 is a rational number..

2)for ex.. let x be 2√5

x^2= (2√5)^2

= 4*5

= 20

which is again a rational no..
