X is half as efficient as y and he is able to complete a job 50 days more than y. If they are working together how many days will it take to complete the job?

Answer:

efficiency of x let = 1

than , efficiency of y = 2

efficiency = 1:2 (x:y)

time = 2:1 (x:y)

time difference = 2-1 = 1

given 1-----------50

so, 2 ------------100

Number of days by X = 100

number of days by y = 50

LCM = 100 = Total work

both do in = 100/3 = 33(1/3) days . [Ans.)
