Solution:-

Given Equation:-

x² - √(2 +1)x + √2 = 0

=> x² - √2x -x + √2 = 0

=> x( x - √2) -1(x-√2) = 0

=> (x -√2) ( x-1) = 0

=> x = √2 & x = 1.

Hence,

The Roots of the Given Equation is √2 and 1.

Method to Solve Questions like this! ⏬

● Firstly Simply Break the Middle term, so that the Product of the Splitted term should be equal to the Product of the First & last term of the Equation and The Sum of the Splitted term should be equal to that Number.

Ex:-

Ex:-6x² + 17x + 5 = 0

=> 6x² + ( 15 + 2)x + 5 = 0

Here,

15 + 2 = 17

& ( 6×5) = (15×2)

=> 30 = 30
